Sintering Pre Melted Calcium Aluminate Refining SlagSintering Pre Melted Calcium Aluminate Refining SlagSintered refining slag is mainly used in LF furnace, open hearth furnace, and converter ladle refining to remove impurities such as sulfur and oxygen from the molten steel, reduce the impurity content in the molten steel, and is suitable for ordinary carbon steel, high carbon steel, high and low alloy steel. The sintered refined slag (calcium aluminate refined slag) produced by our factory is made by sintering or melting high-quality materials. It has the functions of rapid slag formation, arc burial, slag formation, absorption of steel inclusions for desulfurization, and has strong desulfurization and deoxidation effects, which can reduce gas and inclusions in steel. This product is made by sintering or melting various selected raw materials to produce minerals mainly composed of 12CAO • 7AL2O3, with a content greater than 85%. A large amount of calcified components can react with oxygen and sulfur in the molten steel to produce low melting point products that are easy to float up, achieving the purpose of purifying the molten steel. In ladle refining, it can effectively shorten the steelmaking time and has a strong ability to absorb non-metallic inclusions in steel, which has a significant effect on purifying the molten steel.
Pre melted refining slag is made by sintering and melting limestone (containing CaO), magnesite (containing MgO), dolomite (containing CaO · MgO), pyrite (containing BaO), and fluorite (containing CaF2) in a blast furnace. This slag has a very low melting point and can melt at the fastest speed, shortening the residence time of molten steel in the refining ladle and strengthening the smelting process. At the same time, this refining agent has good fluidity, optimizing the kinetic conditions of desulfurization reaction and achieving deep desulfurization.
