Usage:
1,Polyacrylamide flocculant cannot be directly added to wastewater. Before use, it must be dissolved in water and treated with its aqueous solution.
2,The water used to dissolve polymers should be tap water and not sewage. Normal temperature water is sufficient and generally does not require heating. Dissolving at temperatures below 5 ºC is slow, and increasing the water temperature accelerates the dissolution rate. However, temperatures above 40 ºC will accelerate the degradation of polymers, affecting their effectiveness. Generally, tap water is suitable for preparing polymer solutions, while strong acid, strong alkali, and high salt water are not suitable for preparation.
3,The recommended ratio for the concentration of polymer solution in our factory is 0.1% -0.3%, which means adding 1-3 g of polymer powder to 1 L of water. Attribute: Polyacrylamide flocculant is a high molecular weight organic compound, with most having a molecular weight of several million or more, and some even approaching 20 million. So their dissolution methods are very different from inorganic small molecule iron salt and aluminum salt coagulants.
